One of the basic concepts of Esoteric Acupuncture is Esoteric Shaoyin. This concept emphasizes balancing and stimulating the complimentary, yet opposing forces of the Kidney System of fear with the Heart System of love. One function of the Kidney System is movement, rhythm and drums. Music, rhythm and movement are merely opposing, yet complimentary fields versus the Stillness of Wisdom.
